Sector context
Food and beverage plants run near-continuously, at high throughput, with seasonal campaigns that leave few windows to stop. A leaking heat exchanger, a tank due for requalification or a thinned pipe cannot be swapped out mid-production: the incident turns into lost batches, extra cleaning and late deliveries.
These plants are also dense with monitored equipment: steam generators and pressure autoclaves, process tanks and sterile tanks in contact with the product, process piping and clean-in-place networks.
