Making use of your CMMS data

Your intervention reports and failure history already hold part of the levers to improve your maintenance. Assets 4.0 identifies the exploitable opportunities and, where they justify it, builds the decision-support system suited to your data.

Your objectives

What your maintenance has to hold

Equipment availability

Fewer unplanned stops, a line that keeps its commitments.

Maintenance cost

A budget under control, without over-maintenance or costly breakdowns.

Fleet reliability

Anticipate recurring failures rather than absorb them.

Steering

Decisions backed by facts, not by the memory of long-serving staff.

The current barrier

The problem is not a lack of data

Your CMMS has been filling up for years. But the history stays hard to use : interventions are logged to keep a trace, rarely to support a decision. The knowledge about your equipment exists, scattered across reports, spreadsheets and people’s memory.

On the shop floor

A defect logged on an asset a year ago : has it progressed ? The answer is somewhere in the CMMS, but no one has the time to reconstruct it.

Where AI could help

Three levers, to be qualified on your data

No generic promise : what follows is what your history could enable. The audit determines which of these are genuinely exploitable in your case.

Prioritise interventions

Cross criticality, history and cost to help decide what to address first.

Spot drift signals

Surface equipment whose behaviour departs from its own history.

Prepare shutdowns

Gather the real state of the fleet before a technical shutdown, from past interventions.

The AI opportunity audit

We start by looking at your data, not by selling a tool

Assets 4.0 analyses your objectives, processes, data and constraints, then identifies and prioritises the opportunities, with a value estimate and a roadmap.

What we look at

The audit

  • Your maintenance objectives and KPIs (availability, cost).
  • Your data : CMMS, reports, history, spreadsheets.
  • Your processes and constraints (safety, on-site).
  • The real quality of the available data.
What you receive

The roadmap

  • The exploitable opportunities, prioritised.
  • A value and feasibility estimate.
  • The data prerequisites and points to watch.
  • A clear plan, and where to start.

The audit may also conclude that better reporting, a business rule or a simple automation is enough, or that your data is not yet exploitable. That is what makes it an honest diagnosis, not a sales pitch.

The approach

From audit to a system in service

01

Audit

Objectives, data, prioritised opportunities, ROI and roadmap.

02

Design

If an opportunity justifies it, the decision-support system is built on your data.

03

Deployment

Roll-out on your infrastructure, adoption by the teams, follow-up.

An example

A scattered history, put back to work for decisions

On a fleet where inspection reports were piling up as PDFs, the goal was simple : rebuild a per-asset history to prepare the technical shutdown without digging through the archives. The audit scoped what was exploitable ; the system linked each report to the right asset.

The same fleet, the same data, but usable at the moment of deciding.

Frequently asked

What maintenance managers ask us

Do we need to add sensors?

Not necessarily. The approach starts from what you already have : your CMMS history, your intervention and inspection reports. Sensors can complete the setup if the audit shows they add clear value, but they are not the starting point.

Our CMMS data is incomplete, is that a blocker?

That is exactly what the audit is for : assessing the real quality of your data and what it enables. A partial CMMS is often still exploitable for a first scope. If the data is not enough, we say so, and we point out what to improve first.

Does our data stay with us?

Yes. Processing can run on your own infrastructure, without sending anything to a public cloud. The OT/IT boundary is preserved. This is set at scoping, according to your requirements.

Do you replace our CMMS?

No. We connect to your CMMS and your files to make use of the data. We replace neither your CMMS nor your ERP.

Assess the potential of your CMMS data

Describe your situation : your CMMS, your objectives, your constraints. We come back to you to scope an opportunity audit.

  • An honest diagnosis, not a sales pitch
  • On your data, on-site if needed
  • From audit to system, if the opportunity justifies it
