Do you replace our existing tools, like the CMMS or ERP?
No. Assets 4.0 builds around your existing tools, not against them. The systems we design read your data, structure it and feed it back to the tools you already run, including your CMMS, ERP and quality software. They add a layer of understanding and steering on top, and go further where those tools stop, but there is no forced migration and no change of habit for your teams. You keep your environment; we make it more useful.
Which of the four fields should we start with?
Usually the one where the pain is sharpest and the data is already there. For many industrial groups, that is maintenance intelligence, because inspection reports and CMMS history exist but are not consolidated. Quality and compliance is a strong starting point when an IFS, BRCGS or GMP audit is approaching. Does our data leave for the cloud?
Not by default. Assets 4.0 designs systems so your data stays with you, and processing can run locally, on your own machine or your network, depending on the project. The right setup is decided with you, according to your security constraints and your IT policy. We do not impose a cloud dependency, and sensitive documents do not have to leave your environment for the system to work.
Does the AI make decisions on its own?
No. The systems Assets 4.0 builds gather, structure and highlight information; they prepare the decision. The technical judgement and its validation stay with your teams and your experts. Critical findings are confirmed by a human, and every result keeps a link to the source it came from, so it can be checked. The aim is to give your people better material to decide with, not to replace their judgement.
What documents and formats can you work with?
The material you already produce: PDF and scanned reports, spreadsheets, exports from your CMMS or ERP, and files in your document stores such as SharePoint, OneDrive or shared drives. Assets 4.0 calibrates each system on your real documents, so a new format is learned from your actual files rather than interpreted at random. If your reports have a specific structure or vocabulary, that is exactly what we tune the system to read.
Can the AI invent or guess missing information?
The systems are built to extract what is written, not to fill gaps with invention. When a piece of information is missing from a document, it is flagged as missing rather than guessed. Because every result stays linked to its source, you can trace any value back to the report it came from. This is a deliberate design choice: in regulated industry, a traceable gap is far safer than a confident but unfounded answer.
